A born and bred Pacific Northwesterner, I am currently based in the lovely town of Cheyenne, Wyoming where I work as a copywriter and content strategist.
My personal project is The Zero Waste Memoirs: a sustainability blog dedicated to helping people from all walks of life "live lightly and brightly upon the earth" by reducing household waste.
My passion for writing, social justice, and advocacy has been cultivated over a series of roles in the nonprofit sector, and in contrast, corporate marketing. My specialty is writing copy that inspires, rather than just sells, and I believe that businesses have a unique responsibility to the communities where they work.
Over the course of my career I've worked alongside some incredible leaders in organizations such as Agros International, Pilgrim Africa and most recently, NetHope – a consortium of 50 of the world's largest nonprofit organizations – where I served as its Manager of Marketing and Communications. I've also performed mission and marketing consultations for Choshen Farm Zambia, ACTION International, NEXT Manga and Women's Enterprises International.
I've also been fortunate to write for some incredible companies, including: Lenovo, Blue Federal Credit Union, L&H Industrial, FLANDERS, Inc., Massage Envy, Car Toys, WyoLotto, Wyoming Department of Health, and many more.
I hold both a Bachelor of Arts in Global Development and a Master of Arts in Social & Sustainable Business Management from Seattle Pacific University.
